An 'I Know' exercise from my composition 1 class.  We had to write what we know.  Here's what I know.

...that despite what everybody says, I can fly.  In fact, I can do anything, and, knowing this, I also know that imagination is one of the most important aspects of my life.  I know that daydreaming makes me a happier person.  Just like Mt. Dew.  Except when I drink too much and get a stomach-ache.  But I don't get stomach-aches from imagining things.  Just momentary, healthy escapes from reality.  I also know I hate pencils, but I also can't stand having to scribble things out.  I write on white paper so as not to be confined by lines.  If it has lines, I have to be in them.  With plain white paper, like imagination,
